Important information for users of navigation systems and route planners

Your navigation system will probably guide you through roads that are closed seasonally. Therefore, enter not as the destination address the address of our house, but be sure to pay attention to the directions for travelling by car and motorcycle, which you will also find further down on this page. Otherwise you might get a wrong line! If you have any questions during your journey, please do not hesitate to contact our reception at any time +49 (0) 2671 – 910520

Travelling by car or bicycle

The medieval town centre of Cochem is a pedestrian zone during the day. For our guests, however, the shortest and easiest route is officially permitted:
You drive along the Moselle promenade (B49) to house no. 16a. There you will find the gift and tea shop “Belmondo”. Here you drive into the Zollstraße (permission of passage for cars and motorcycles). After a few meters you cross Herrenstraße and it begins Schloßstraße (ascending). Follow this until you reach the entrance to Villa Tummelchen on the right after about 150m. We recommend that you drive your car backwards up our driveway

The parking spaces are above our house and are secured with bollards. You will receive the key for the bollards with your room key. A description of how to get to the parking lots and a short walk back to our house will be given at the welcome.

If you do not find the way to our hotel, please call us at telephone number (02671-910520)Gladly we will guide you from the Moselpromenade by phone to us in the Schloßstraße 22.

Guests with bicycles can park them safely in the garage and lock them (free of charge).

Arrival by motorbike

Proven tip: We advise bikers especially and explicitly to approach our house “from above”.

For motorcyclists the entrance to our yard is easier if they come from “above”. They turn from the Endertstraße (L98) into the street “In der Faitsch” from (sign: “Oberstadt”) and continue on the Stadtwaldstraße – Kelberger Straße – In der Märtschelt – Am Tummelchen. There follow the road through the right barrier to the Terrassen-Café and now turn left downhill into the Schloßstraße. If you use a navigation system, it is best to enter “In der Faitsch 8” as the destination address and then follow our Directions plan.
